Lets Talk Face Masks

Since about October, my view on skincare has taken a total 180˚ turn. Before I had a facial at Credo with all of the Tata Harper skincare line, I was literally a wash, rinse, and call it a day kind of gal. My skin was in horrible condition, but I didn’t really care. I figured I could just hide it under makeup. Ever since that faithful day in October though, my skincare routine has taken a turn for the better. I found myself actually doing research on the products I use, and realizing how terrible most skincare products are for you. Your skin absorbs something like 80% of what you put on it, directly into your blood stream. So why put toxic chemicals on your body when natural ingredients are better for you, and yield greater long term results?

So today I want to share with you all the three face masks I rotate throughout my week. They are all made of natural products, some even food grade ;). And with all the price points being under $60, how can you say no?

The Herbivore Blue Tansy Mask I use about 2-3 times a week. I tend to have red skin thats pretty sensitive, and this mask completely saves the day; especially when I’m looking extra red. It’s amazing for oily skin, acne prone skin, and normal skin! The price point is only $48, so whats not to love?

The Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask I love for when my skin is looking a little dull. If you pair this with an exfoliation cleanser, I swear your dead and nasty skin will literally fall off as you wash the mask off.

Last but not least, I use my Scratch Goods Matcha Clay Mask every Sunday, like clock work. Save the best for last, right? I love everything by Scratch Goods because its food grade products, and made locally in Chicago! I recently purchased a few more products from their line, including a face oil and body scrub. But guess what y’all?! This mask is only $18!! Even if you don’t live in Chicago, you can still buy it online, and I HIGHLY recommend you do. I promise you wont regret it!

I’d love to know, how often do you all use face masks? Is it completely a part of your beauty regiment? Or is it a total afterthought? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time ya’ll. xoxo

(P.S. This post is in no way sponsored, just sharing my love of face mask with you beautiful people.)
